You must have calculated incorrectly! Make sure you use the correct units when finding the velocity from Hubble's law. Use a value for Hubble's constant of 80 km/sec/Mpc (kilometers per second per Mega parsec). There are 3.26 light years in a parsec and a million parsecs in a Megaparsec.
